The main concern in Hanna villa is to have in the property owned by Abdo Hanna two seperate residential units for two of his sons.
The approach was to split the villa into 2 units yet keep a sence of unity for the volumetry as a whole. So the architect worked on keeping equilibrium between the two parts on the level of spacial configuration, relation to the surrounding exterior landscaped areas, the sense of privacy... But at the same time, the architect was concerned in keeping a holistic approach to the project. This concern of having the project expressing itself on the ground as one entity not two seperate units, and the sculpting of the elements forming the envelope gave this project the desired phylosophical message Mr. Abdo Hanna wanted to express.
